Ashley takes pride in her Native Cree heritage, and has shown this through her volunteer work with community elders and youth. Trenton started as a busser and proceeded to amass over 15 years of experience in hospitality, having managed and innovated some of the most popular restaurants in Ottawa and Winnipeg. Trenton is now the General Manager for Chop Steakhouse Bar, Ottawa. He’s also a sommelier, and we’re all looking forward to his recommendations!
Alysha Newman is an Olympic athlete training for the 2021 Olympic games. Currently holding the Canadian record in pole vaulting, she has her eyes set on the podium and is ready to make her country proud.
Advocating for what's right
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear our suits, and look amazing in them. This is the case for Montreal’s Malik Shaheed. He’s fighting the good fight as a youth advocate who campaigns against bullying (he visits schools as ‘DJ Malik’ for anti-bullying events) and promotes men’s mental health. He is the Director of Operations for the Youth Stars Foundation.

Richard Thomas is the senior technology manager at Skip the Dishes. No stranger to hard work, Rich is also the owner of Shinobi Fitness, a group strength and conditioning gym in his hometown. With talent and dedication like his, who knows what’s next for the Winnipegger!
